Forward Area 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Thunder as the Battalion returns to Control of the 11th Light Infantry Brigade Control in the Duc Pho Area of Operation. At 1050hrs Delta Company 4-21 Infantry at BS707497 found grenade in stream wasn’t booby trap, destroyed. At 1410hrs 1-20 Infantry reports Delta Company 4-21 Infantry at BS718515 engaged 1 VC evading results 1 VC WIA CIA. At 1535hrs Delta Company 4-21 Infantry at BS716512 found 1 155mm dud round and destroyed in place and at 1519hrs at BS716518 detained 1 VCS working in field 18 yeas old, altered ID card, evac for questioning. At 1800hrs MACV Duc Pho, Major Smith requested 2 APC to come to compound to MACV for the night. Have information that 1 of the RF companies may attack MACV compound. The RF Company is mad because they are being sent north from Duc Pho. At 1850hrs 1-20 Infantry reports Delta Company 4-21 Infantry 10, 30 and Command Post at LZ Dragon with ambushes 21 at Bs721526 and 22 at BS722511. Also Delta Company 1-52 Infantry 30 and Command Post at LZ Liz with ambushes 11-14 at BS747418 and 26 at BS778437. At 1905hrs MACV reports that all indications point to a mortar attack on Sa Huynh, Sa Huynh has 70% deserted, believe they will hit Sa Huynh tonight because of change in units today. At 1910hrs Report that PF broke up a meeting of a supposedly 200 people in the village, at the base of LZ Thunder and made them get out of the area. At 2152hrs 1-20 Infantry reports Delta Company 1-52 Infantry at LZ Liz engaged 1 VC with M-79 round just outside perimeter, believe they got him will check out first thing in morning, with negative results.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 2230hrs Sector F Bunkers 51-52 reported someone or something tripped a trip flare and personnel reported 2 persons entering ammo Dump.
Alpha Company

At 1024hrs Alpha Company at BS747410, PRU detained 7 VC (female) will evac to LZ Bronco when PRU finished interrogating them. At 1850hrs Alpha Company established their Night Defense Position at BS748414, with 11 BS750406, 22 BS744416, and 32 BS753413.
Bravo Company

At 1205hrs Bravo Company is at BS854357. At 1850hrs Bravo Company (-) is on LZ Thunder and have taken over Security Mission for LZ Thunder with ambushes at BS823397 and 11 BS823400.
Charlie Company
June 25, 1968
At 1205hrs Charlie Company is located at BS785334. At 1850hrs Charlie Company is in their Night Defense Position at BS780343 with ambush 10 BS783342, 20 BS776343, and 30 BS781349.
Delta Company
June 25, 1968
Delta Company by 1200hrs is at LZ Thunder getting ready to move to LZ Bronco for their Stand Down. At 1915hrs MACV to 1-20 Infantry TOC: MACV Quang Ngai reports that individual knows where tunnel is that contains weapons, have individual in Quang Ngai now, will send down tomorrow and show Delta Company where weapons cache is. PFC Benjamin J. Banks was sick and evac at 090hrs to the 2nd Surgical Hospital and attached.
Echo Company
June 25, 1968
Echo Company is located at LZ Thunder where Battalion Forward is and coordinates with the Battalion Rear Elements and Base Defense elements on LZ Thunder. The 4.2 Platoon is located on LZ Thunder where they continue to provide direct fire support for the Battalion. Recon Platoon Continue their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown. Echo Company reports that SP4 Willie McCaskill evac to 6th Support Battalion sick at 1300hrs.
